Beginner's Yoga - yoga basics for everybody!
The entry level to SunYoga.
Learn yoga basics – for beginners & those with a little yoga experience. Step by step instruction to learn the foundations of yoga - Postures, yoga breathing, meditation & relaxation. Suitable for all ages & all levels of fitness.

Open Yoga
This yoga class is open to all from beginners to intermediate students. A basic yoga class suitable for most students. Each class will be a combination of posture work, breathing exercises and relaxation designed to move you into a comfortable, happy and stress free state, so you can get the most of our your weekend…
General Yoga - de-stress after a days work
A varied yoga class that aims to clear your mind, stretch & strengthen your body and leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed & energised. We cover a broad range of content that responds to the energy of the day, the students present, and progresses you forward on your yoga journey.
Open to all except beginners.
Dynamic Yoga
For experienced and committed SunYoga students who want to learn more about the wonderful art of SunYoga!
The strongest physical class of the week. Take advantage of the morning energy and start your weekend with a bang! For those who are ready & willing to learn a wide range of eclectic yoga. We work with seasonal energies, flowing sequences, partner work, breathing practices…whatever takes our fancy on the day! (by agreement with Claire)

It’s playful & fun and we have to admit, sometimes a little bit ridiculous. If you want to get your heart beating, and are willing to shake your booty to disco music, then this is the class for you!
You get all the benefits of yoga with some extra emphasis on toning and strengthening. We begin with a gentle warm up, move into a broad range of yoga postures and then roll up the mats and spend 15 minutes or so grooving to our favourite tunes. It’s invigorating, de-toxing and cleansing for your body, mind and soul, and each class ends with some slow stretching and a guided relaxation…
Classes open to all, some prior yoga experience is advisable and a sense of humour is mandatory!
Women's SunYoga Groove - is as the name suggests, for women only. Exercise in a safe, inclusive and non-competitive environment. SunYoga is an upstairs studio, completely private and guaranteed male-free for the duration of this women's class.
Children's Yoga – First class absolutely FREE.
Classes are suitable for children aged from 4 - 12 years.

Attend Pre-Natal Yoga & be eligible for the following:
Pre-Natal Yoga is suitable for all mums-to-be from 12 weeks onwards.
Connect with your changing body & growing baby as you progress through pregnancy. Classes include special pregnancy yoga postures, breath work, meditation & relaxation techniques. Learn skills and techniques to manage labour and give birth with as little intervention as possible.
Note: Pre-Natal yoga runs as a block and there is no casual attendance.
Yoga for the Mind
Find relief from the eternal busy-ness of the mind through meditation, pranayama, (yogic breathing), & relaxation practises. In this one hour class we work to soothe your mind and leave you in a state of calm wellbeing which you can take into your day to day activities. Benefits include:
Classes open to all, but some prior yoga experience is advisable, (we suggest you begin with one of our beginner’s classes). While physical yoga postures work through the body – meditation & pranayama focus on the subtle energies of breath & mind. Yoga for the mind can be attended as a stand alone practice or to compliment your existing yoga routine, bringing new depths of understanding of the Self.
Early Morning Open Yoga - rise & shine with the Sun!
The early bird gets the worm! Start your day positively with energising yoga. Early morning yoga grounds and centres you, moves your whole being into action, and sets you up well for the day ahead. Classes will be pitched to suit participants and is open to all levels. No prior yoga experience necessary.

SunYoga classes are constantly evolving, responding to individual needs on the day, the flow of seasons and our ongoing yogic studies...
In our current culture of obsession with the body beautiful, youth, celebrity and ever increasing material success, we are often left feeling profoundly inadequate. These obsessions even (sadly) filter through to the yoga world, which is so often portrayed in the media by the limiting and misrepresentative image of a young, fit & flexible model.
SunYoga embraces and is enjoyed by everybody; all ages, shapes and sizes. Physical fitness is just a part of the big yoga story.
Yoga brings health and happiness to the whole self; it works the body, relaxes & opens your mind, and connects you to spirit.
With regular practice we can achieve our greatest potential in all aspects of life, both on and off the yoga mat.
