SunYoga Retreats with Claire

Tension is who you think you should be.  Relaxation is who you are.
~ Chinese Proverb

A retreat is a wonderful opportunity to step away from your usual habits and commitments and renew your relationship with YOU.  This stepping away and surrendering yourself into the nourishing rhythm of a retreat gives you space to focus, listen, reflect and re-establish your path and purpose.  In the company of like minded souls, and nurtured by delicious food and Nature, you can rest deeply and immerse more fully in the illuminating light of SunYoga.

"It was such a liberating experience to leave all family & friends behind and arrive at the yoga retreat unencumbered by anyone else's inhibitions, fears or prejudice.  To only need to care for myself, meet other participants and embrace all the wonderful experiences that Claire had planned for us... I feel happy, enlightened and well! Thanks Claire!"   Irene H

2018 Clearview Weekend
Mountain Yoga Retreats
King Parrot Valley, VIC

February 23 - 25 Coming Home

Unplug and pause from the relentless busy-ness of life and spend a whole weekend nourishing, resting and connecting deeply.

When we stop and pay attention to our inner life it feels like coming home. We come home to our heart, our body and our mind with fresh, clear eyes; cultivating deep respect, kind compassion and honest acceptance of this unique organic being that is Me. We realise that there is nothing we need to do, or be, or become.
Over the weekend we will do simple yoga practices - gentle asana, breath work, yoga massage, meditation and deliciously long relaxations - to support this process of befriending ourselves, refining our listening skills, and coming home to rest in the ever abundant river of life.

September 21 - 23 The Heart of Listening

Amidst Nature’s spring bounty we will spend our weekend retreat listening; listening to the explosion of life amongst the beautiful surrounds of Clearview, and listening to the rich cacophony of life within.   One of the great gifts of yoga is refining this art of listening.  We learn to be receptive and responsive to the stream of information within us.  The more clearly we feel and sense our inner life, the easier it becomes to walk a path of intelligence, compassion and truth.

What is my true nature?  What is the right course of action? How can I live compassionately, within and without, allowing love to flow freely? When we live flowing in the stream of our truth, we are free.

Retreat activities will be simple yoga practices - gentle asana, breath work, yoga massage, meditation and deliciously long relaxations – all designed to support the process of befriending ourselves and refining the Heart of Listening.

"After doing SunYoga classes for many, many years and watching others go off on retreat, I finally took the plunge and came along to this lovely, relaxing, yet energising 6 days of yoga, swimming, laughter and joy. Sanctuary Retreat is a lovely environment and Claire's classes are so well taliored to the group and the environment.  I just loved it!" Sarah H
